"We are Florida residents who are staying in Lake Geneva for 3 months. We were looking for a small, independent eye care facility to have an eye exam and found Family Eye Care of Lake Geneva by looking on the internet. What a stroke of luck to find this facility!!! Everything is top notch here including the receptionist (Jeanne), the dispenser (Angela), the state of the art equipment, and Dr. Mark himself. Dr. Mark explains every step of the exam in thorough detail to educate the patient. It was the best eye exam we have ever experienced in a relaxed, no rush atmosphere. Thank you, Family Eye Care. If we're in the area again we definitely will return to you."

"A visit to see Dr. Heinke for my eye care needs is always a very positive experience. Her staff had contacted me a few days prior to my appointment to offer me an earlier time slot, which was very much appreciated although my schedule did not allow me to accept it. On the day of my appointment, I actually got in a few minutes early! That was a welcomed surprise when most health care professionals run at least a few minutes to an hour late! Dr. Heinke took the time, as always, to inquire about overall health and any pertinent issues, which lends important context / insights to the doctor-patient relationship and treatment process. "I was so surprised about the diagnosis; I guess overwhelmed is a better word, I couldn't focus on the information presented. It was displayed and explained well, but perhaps a handout on the whole diagnosis and possible resolutions would be nice to review following the appointment. As far as the cost involved, I didn't ask about payment plans because I foresee a cash payment, but that was something I might have thought to ask about anyway to see if a plan is actually possible. It was nice to have the reception staff go ahead and schedule the necessary "pre-op" appointment for me while I was checking out. That puts a plan in place and gives me some direction with regard to time off requests at work and planning around the holidays. Thanks so much, everyone! "
