How can your prepare for your first visit?

Call Family Eye Care of Woodstock and Lake Geneva to schedule an appointment. Allow 1-2 hours for complete exam, depending on your individual needs such as dilation, retinal photos, or special testing.
Provide your medical or vision insurance information. We also accept cash.
Complete your 'Medical History' and 'Billing Policy' forms before your visit.
If you choose to complete the medical history and billing policy forms at our office, arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
When you arrive, sign in and speak to a receptionist. Provide a photo ID and your insurance cards.
You might prefer to shop for frames before you see the doctor because if your eyes are dilated, it is difficult to choose frames.
Allow 15 minutes for us to enter your information into our secure system.
You will be greeted by an optician for pretesting lasting approximately 20 minutes.
After pretesting, you will be given a complete and thorough eye exam.
We offer the highest-quality contact lenses, frames, and lenses found in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. All orders are custom made for each individual. Our prices are competitive. Allow us to be your premier eye care professionals! Our staff can also speak Spanish.
